Food 4 Thought?????

In one lesson we were asked to create a "Food for Thought" poster in Photoshop in 20 minutes, in this poster we had to have 3 layers one background layer one text layer and one for an image or own drawing.
This is my poster below.

Feeling Fruity!!

A few more of my digital fruit drawings created on photoshop. these images are influenced by julian opie and Micheal Craig-martin with black outlines and solid colour.

sooo colourful....

oh my god! so much homework to do i think I'm going to explode!!
I have enjoyed today's lesson for the simple reason of being colourful!! i love art that's colourful, who wants to sit there an look at a dull grey blob when you can explore the world of colour!!
we have been researching artists such as Julian Opie and Michael Craig - Martin to influence us in our own digital drawings. Our drawings had to be based on food or produce so images such as bowls of fruit or veg.
i have already made a post on Julian Opie but here are some more examples of her work and other artists like Michael Craig - Martin.
Work of Julian Opie.
Work of Michael Craig-Martin.

To create my images i used Photoshop but sometimes and in the past i have used illustrator.
In Photoshop you have to find the image you want to draw and place it on your sheet, then add a new layer to create lines and you simply follow the outline of whatever your image is. You then copy this layer so the lines are in the other layer but instead in this layer you use the fill tool to fill in the shapes if you want to be accurate you can use the dropper tool to get the colours from the original image.
The image below, i have created on Photoshop, i was highly influenced by artists Julian Opie and Michael Craig - Martin.
